Strang Reserve is a new addition to the Edison District ownership portfolio, creating a reservable multi-purpose event space that supports a wide variety of possible event spaces like weddings, corporate parties, large meetings, trainings, or similar. This new venue serves as an amenity space for the building, downtown Overland Park, as well as the surrounding Metro Area of Kansas City. The space includes a large, pre-function space, rooms that could be used for smaller meetings or bride and groom changing areas, gender neutral restrooms and a large, open event space with wall-to-wall curtains to soften the room for weddings but can open up to display large-screen TVs for presentations. Adjacent to Strang Hall, it can provide catering through the rear prep room.
