Chris Armer

AIA, NCARB

Partner

Originally from Phoenix, Chris was preparing himself to be a professional artist, when the architecture bug took hold.  After a few years in Colorado, he returned to the University of Arizona to study architecture where he was able to practically apply a desire to design and build experiential spaces.  Since then his career has ranged from aviation-oriented work to a higher education focus, then to multifamily, retail, entertainment, and just about anything commercial developer related.  Within all of that, Chris operated his own firm for eight years designing homes and light commercial buildings.  This evolved into a design-build practice where he acted as both architect and general contractor.  Chris brings his calm and practical leadership abilities to his projects and teams, keeping the processes aligned with the goals.

on a personal note...

Chris still spends much of his recreational time drawing, painting, or constructing three-dimensional works of art.  When not creating you can find him on the tennis court, cycling the roads of the KC metro, or hiking any hills and mountains that he can find.
